The House investigative committee has made public a batch of roughly 70 images from the estate of late adjudicated sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

This constitutes the third publication from a cache of over 95,000 photos the committee has acquired from Epstein's estate. It includes pictures of excerpts from the novel Lolita scrawled across a female's body, and obscured photos of female foreign passports.

This action occurs just hours before the 19 December cut-off for the Justice Department to disclose all documents associated with its inquiry into Epstein.

"These new photos pose more queries about what exactly the DOJ has in its holdings," stated the ranking member of the committee, Robert Garcia.

What's in the Photos Made Public

A number of the photos released on Thursday show Epstein conversing with professor and activist Noam Chomsky on a private plane; Bill Gates standing beside a individual whose identity is redacted; Steve Bannon positioned at a desk opposite Epstein, and former Alphabet president Sergey Brin at a evening meal.

These are the latest wealthy, influential men to be pictured in Epstein property photos disclosed by the House Oversight Committee - previously disclosed pictures also include US President Donald Trump and ex-president Bill Clinton, as well as film director Woody Allen, previous US Treasury Secretary Larry Summers, counsel Alan Dershowitz, Andrew Mountbatton-Windsor, and others.

Showing up in the images is does not constitute evidence of any misconduct, and many of the featured men have stated they were not involved in Epstein's unlawful actions.

In a announcement issued alongside the photograph release, Lawmakers on the US House Oversight Committee noted the Epstein property holders did not provide background information or timings for the photographs.

"Photographs were picked to furnish the American people with transparency into a illustrative selection of the images received from the estate, and to give insights into Epstein's network and his exceptionally troubling actions," the statement states.

The disclosure also includes multiple photographs of excerpts from the Vladimir Nabokov literary work Lolita penned in dark ink across several locations of a female's body, such as her upper body, feet, pelvis, and back. Lolita narrates the story of a young girl who was exploited by a older literature professor.

An example of a excerpt from the book scrawled across a woman's upper body reads, "Lo-lee-ta: the tip of the tongue making a journey of three steps down the palate to land, at three, on the teeth".

The release also contains a number of photographs of female travel documents and official papers from states worldwide, such as Lithuania, Russia, the Czech Republic, and Ukraine.

A large portion of the information on the IDs, including names and DOBs, is redacted but the panel indicated in a statement that the travel documents are associated with "women whom Jeffrey Epstein and his associates were engaging".

Another image shows Epstein seated at a desk closely flanked by three female figures whose identities have been censored - one individual has her palm on Epstein's upper body under his shirt, and a second is leaning to view a close-by device. Epstein can be seen to be aiding the third individual attach a wristband.

An additional image released is a image of digital messages from an unnamed individual who states they have been provided "a number of girls" and are demanding "$one thousand dollars for each individual".

Photograph Release Arrives Ahead of DOJ Due Date

The body has a vast number of photos in its holdings from the Epstein property, which are "simultaneously explicit and mundane," its press release on Thursday noted.

The Congressional committee first issued a subpoena to the property of Epstein, who was found dead in a New York jail in 2019 while pending legal proceedings on allegations of human trafficking, in August.

The photographs and documents the Epstein property provided to the body are separate from what is often referred to "Epstein-related records". Those files are records in the justice department's possession connected to its separate probe into Epstein.

Under the Epstein Files Transparency Act, which the President made law in November, the DOJ has until the date of 19 December to publish its files. The scope of the contents contained in the DOJ's records is not publicly known, and it's expected that a significant portion of the content will be significantly redacted, comparable to House Oversight Committee releases
